Despina Papastergiou
Co-founder - Project Architect
Despina is a registered architect in the UK and Cyprus. She is co-founder and director of SODES Architects.
Despina holds a diploma in architectural engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, a DPEA (Diplôme Propre aux École d`Architecture) in Design and innovation in architecture from the National Higher School of Architecture of Grenoble (ENSAG), France, and an Architecture Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice (RIBA Part III) from University of Westminster in UK.
Her love of arts, maths and space was a crucial factor in her decision to pursue architecture. Despina excels in combining logic and aesthetic to create functional and beautiful spaces, embracing client’s vision.
Despina, with more than six years of experience has earned valuable knowledge and skill sets, allowing her to be competitive and efficient in both design and construction matters.
Sotiris Hadjistylli
Co-founder - Project Architect
Sotiris is a registered architect in the UK and Cyprus and a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He is co-founder and director of SODES Architects.
Sotiris studied his Bachelors and Masters in Architecture at the National Higher School of Architecture of Normandy, in France (ENSAN), graduating in 2014. Sotiris was granted a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) and the French Institute of Cyprus.
After completing a year in professional practice in Grenoble, in France, Sotiris travelled to London and worked in different architectural practices. Whilst working, Sotiris has successfully completed his Architecture Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice (RIBA Part III) from University of Westminster in UK.
Sotiris’ multicultural educational and professional background allowed him to develop a wide range of skill sets and to acquire extensive experience covering all stages of the design and construction process. Through the years, he has had a key role as project architect on numerous projects, including residential, commercial and industrial projects.
